Who We Are
TÜBİTAK BUTAL is a leading testing and analysis center with a wide range of analytical capabilities operating under the umbrella of TÜBİTAK. With its strong and well-established presence in the sector, it provides comprehensive services to customers operating in industry, environment, food, agriculture and many other fields. In line with its goals of conducting R&D in national strategic and critical areas, developing technology and products, providing testing and analysis services, producing original solutions and carrying out its activities in an effective, accurate, fast, reliable, transparent and environmentally friendly manner, it continues its science and technology-based activities by increasing the competence of its employees and adding high-tech devices to its infrastructure.

Product certification services are not provided. However, testing/analysis and inspection services are provided to product certification bodies.
You can review our accreditation scope by visiting our Test/Analysis Services and Inspection Services pages.
You can bring your sample to our Customer Service Unit individually. In addition, if you apply by e-mail to butal@tubitak.gov.tr or butal.mhb@tubitak.gov.tr, you will be provided with feedback about the process procedure.
The sample can be sent by hand or by cargo in the quantity and packaging specified in our Industrial Service Catalogue, and information about the sample (sample name, code, date of receipt, etc.) should be on it. Care should be taken to ensure that it is packaged in a way that does not harm human health and the environment.
The service fee is collected in advance with the test/analysis or inspection request. Payment can be made to TÜBİTAK BUTAL cashier by cash/credit card or

account.
You may participate in the test/analysis process as a spectator with the approval and availability of our BUTAL Directorate.

- Samples in the Material-Textile Laboratory for six (6) months,
- Water/wastewater samples in the Chemistry-Environment Laboratory until the report is prepared, and other samples not included herein for six (6) months,
- Meat, milk and dairy products, fruit and vegetable samples in the Food and Agricultural Chemistry Laboratory until the test report is prepared, and other samples not included herein for six (6) months,
- Inspection Service samples shall be kept for six (6) months.
Samples are destroyed at the end of their storage period according to established procedures.
Depending on your preference at the time of application, it can be sent by e-mail or cargo, or it can be delivered by hand.
TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Public Certification Centre provides services in the fields such as Electronic Approval (E-signature), Financial Seal Certificate, Corporate Encryption and Electronic Seal Certificate, Qualified Electronic Certificate (QEC) etc.
