Within the scope of TÜBİTAK BUTAL planned training activities; trainings on "Validation Training in Laboratory Applications" and "Measurement Uncertainty Training in Laboratory Applications" were held for private sector participants on September 24-25, 2018.

On the first day, theoretical and practical information on the purpose of method validation, method validation parameters were given in the "Validation Training in Laboratory Applications"; on the second day, theoretical and practical information on general definitions, statistical distribution types used in uncertainty calculations, measurement uncertainty calculations and reporting were given in the "Measurement Uncertainty Training in Laboratory Applications".

During the trainings, the participants were also given a presentation on the infrastructure and laboratory facilities of TÜBİTAK BUTAL and a tour of the Laboratory and exchanged information.

The Training Activities ended with the presentation of "Certificate of Participation" to the participants by Sedat AKTAŞ, Director of TÜBİTAK BUTAL.
