KOSGEB Directorate in Bursa, which is one of the related organizations of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, and TÜBİTAK BUTAL officials came together at BUTAL in order to strengthen and develop the existing cooperation.

At the meeting, which started with an introductory presentation by Sedat AKTAŞ, BUTAL Manager, about the activities and laboratory facilities of BUTAL, Erkan GÜNGÖR, Provincial Director of KOSGEB in Bursa, and the accompanying delegation of Laboratory officials, as well as a representative from TÜBİTAK UME, BUTAL Unit Officers and other relevant personnel were present.

KOSGEB Bursa Provincial Director Erkan GÜNGÖR, within the scope of his detailed presentation on the activities and supports of KOSGEB, emphasized that % 99.85 of the enterprises in Turkey are SMEs and 75.8 percent of the employees are employed in SMEs, and stated that KOSGEB provides support at rates of % 50 - 70 according to the incentive regions in the purchase of testing, analysis and calibration services made by such enterprises in accredited laboratories.

In this context, mutual views were exchanged in order to benefit from KOSGEB supports more and easily in BUTAL's testing and analysis services for SMEs, thus increasing such activities.
