Within the scope of Science-Community Activities at TÜBİTAK BUTAL; 3 separate events were organized on March 9, March 11 and March 13, 2023.

The Importance of Laboratories in Science and Technology (March 9, 2023)

"Conversation" program organized by the Education and Scientific Activities Working Group was held at TUBITAK BUTAL.

The first part of the interview program on "The Importance of Laboratories in Science and Technology" started with the introductory speech of Sedat AKTAŞ, Director of TÜBİTAK BUTAL, to the participants.

In the program watched with interest by Şükrü Şankaya Anatolian High School Teachers and Students, BUTAL Laboratories Unit Responsibles employees:

Dr. Filiz YILDIRIM (Material Textile Lab.),
Dr. Hüma KURTOĞLU (Chemistry and Environmental Lab.),
Dr. Güler ÇELİK (Food and Agricultural Chemistry Lab.)
They took part in the Conversation as speakers.

The Interview Event Program on March 9, 2023, where the success stories of the speakers were shared, continued with the screening of the BUTAL Promotional Film and a Technical Visit to the Laboratories after the answers to the questions of the participants.

Stories about Scientists (March 11, 2023)

Within the scope of the Science-Community Activity for Children and Educators at TÜBİTAK BUTAL; The second event program on "STORIES ABOUT SCIENCE PEOPLE" started with the introduction presentation of Moderator Sibel TAŞKESEN.

Quality Management and Career Tips at TÜBİTAK BUTAL (March 13, 2023)

A "Conversation" program on "Quality Management and Career Tips at TUBITAK BUTAL" was held for the students and teachers of Uludağ University Chemistry Department [Uludağ University Chemistry Society-UKIT].
The 3rd event program was carried out by the Education and Scientific Activities Working Team.

Accompanied by moderator Sibel TAŞKESEN and after the introductory speech of TÜBİTAK BUTAL Laboratories Supervisor Anıl ÇETİNOĞLU, the speakers gave speeches on the following topics:
Dr. Murat KAYAR, “Laboratory Management Systems”
Dr. Aylin KAYA, “TS EN ISO 17020B and Inspection in Textiles”
Dr. Hilal GÖKÇE, “Career Path”

After the questions and answers, the laboratories were visited.

The students visited our 3 laboratories and experimental device environments with the on-site explanations of our laboratory staff.
