An introductory meeting was held at TÜBİTAK BUTAL with the officials of Bursa, Gemlik, Hatay, Sinop Prison Directorates of Workshops, which operate in order to provide convicts and detainees with a profession or to improve their existing professions, thus bringing idle labor force into production.

After the presentations on BUTAL's activities and laboratory facilities, the meeting ended with a tour of BUTAL Laboratories, where mutual views were exchanged for existing and possible collaborations and an effective communication was established.
