Within the scope of TÜBİTAK BUTAL 2024 planned training activities; "Stitch Strength Performance Tests in Fabrics Training", which aims to provide information to the participants about reinforcing the test methods in textile with applications, for the technical personnel working in the Textile Sector and laboratories, and the graduate students of the Textile Engineering Department of Universities, was held on May 16, 2024 at TÜBİTAK BUTAL.
* Seam Strength - Strip Method and Grip Method (TS EN ISO 13935-1 and TS EN ISO 13935-2)
* Seam Opening - Constant Seam Opening Method and Constant Load Method (TS EN ISO 13936-1 and TS EN ISO 13936-2)
* Seam Fatigue Strength
The training on the subjects of standard method definition and usage areas, ambient conditions, introduction of devices, sample preparation, conducting experiments, calculation and evaluation of test results, theoretical / practical information on the issues to be considered in reporting, followed by general evaluations and "Certificate of Participation" to the participants.
