Within the scope of TUBITAK BUTAL Science and Society Activities; "Look by Magnifying Workshop Program" was held on 30 May 2018 at Bursa Nilüfer Halil İnalcık Science and Art Center and on 06 June 2018 at Bursa Osmangazi BTSO Kamil Tolon Science and Art Center for 11-14 age group students.
In the Workshop Program organized to open the doors of the mysterious world of microscopy and to trigger scientific curiosity;
- Giving general microscopy information,
- Presentation of optical microscope-electron microscope differences,
- Introduction of the working principle of electron microscope,
- Introduction of microscopy pre-processing,
- Preparation of samples,
- Examination of samples (salt, sugar, textile fibers, mold) by electron microscopy,
In addition to the information on the subjects, the participating students had the opportunity to visit BUTAL Laboratories and get to know the Laboratory environment closely.
