TÜBİTAK BUTAL was deemed worthy of the "Bursa Excellence Achievement Award" in the award process organized on the basis of the EFQM Excellence Model in cooperation with BUSİAD and KalDer Bursa Branch.

At the ceremony held in the BUTAL garden area considering the pandemic conditions, the Achievement Award was presented to Sedat AKTAŞ, Director of TÜBİTAK BUTAL.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Saim KILAVUZ, Rector of Uludağ University, Fethi YILDIZ, Deputy Mayor of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Ergün Hadi TÜRKAY, President of BUSİAD, Emin DİREKÇİ, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KALDER Bursa Branch, and Assoc. Dr. Zeki DURAK, Secretary General of BEBKA, as well as invited guests and BUTAL staff.

TUBITAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL, who attended the ceremony online, congratulated BUTAL employees and wished them continued success in their sustainability-based excellence journey.
