Inulin Analysis has been started to be performed in TUBITAK BUTAL Food and Agricultural Chemistry Laboratory. Prebiotic analyzes, which have recently entered our lives more frequently, are gaining importance. Inulin is used as fat substitute, prebiotic, texture in foods in the food industry. Inulin also has positive effects on health. Inulin is found in the roots and tubers of these plants as a replacement polysaccharide for starch alone or in some plants together with starch. Especially chicory roots and locusts contain high levels of Inulin.

A "New Cooperation Protocol" was signed between Bursa Technical University Rectorate and TÜBİTAK BUTAL Directorate on September 29, 2025 in order to carry out joint studies in the fields of scientific research, education, training and application and to contribute to the development of Public-University-Industry
