With the organization of TÜBİTAK BUTAL and with the support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the "Leather Industry Study Tour" program was organized on 19-21 June 2019.
The delegation of 7 members from Pakistan Leather Industrialists Association (S.Z) (PTA-Env.Soc.) visited TÜBİTAK BUTAL and after the presentations made by Director Sedat AKTAŞ and Head of Delegation Mr. Gulzar FIROZ, they visited the Material-Textile, Chemistry-Environment, Food-Agricultural Chemistry Laboratories and received detailed information about the activities and facilities of the laboratories.
After the introduction and information meeting at TÜBİTAK BUTAL, the delegation visited Bursa Specialized Leather Organized Industrial Zone and Turkish Leather Industrialists' Association in Tuzla, respectively, and had the opportunity to get to know the tanneries and facilities operating in the region closely.
